Hi Bobby,

I think there is a facility at Brian Jones site to do so, for Australian ratings, but only back about to the introduction of Swiss perfect.

Alternatively, FIDE has rating graphs for players who have those, going back quite a way.

Take care and God Bless, Macavity

I would rather use a time machine to go back to the old (aka normal) rating system :)

Hi, on my website I have standard, rapid and master lists from the ACF which go back to 1998. Although coverage of the early years is not complete.

Rating list download section of my site (http://www.bjcox.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=1)

BTW I'm always interested in expanding the coverage so if someone has some lists that I don't have and they would like to share I'm happy to add them to my archive.

This might sound like a dumb question, but is the same equation used to determine UK ratings as in Australia?

I very much doubt it. I'm not overly familiar with the British system but the Australian ratings are calculated based on the Glicko-2 system. For more details on that system you can check this description (http://math.bu.edu/people/mg/ratings/glicko2desc.pdf) written by the inventor, Mark Glickman.
