I've had 32 emails similar to the one below this week, all flagged by my Virus Scan as carrying the SpyAgent or RootKit-H trojan.

Needless to say, opening the zip file would be a mistake

Email text:-

The war on spam is never ending but don't make it worse by posting these warnings more than once. ;)

Perhaps if you didn't post your email address on public bulletin board systems where unscrupulous email bots can get at them, you would receive so much spam. :D

(Hanging head in shame) I didn't mean to post twice, honest. I added it to the wrong thread as a reply without thinking, then created this new thread as I should have done in the first place :(

I don't use BBs apart from this one - my old email (@optushome long replaced by @optusnet) is out there and gets spammed incessantly
