 Me? A politician? No chance, I am such a crap lier, I stopped bothering to try to years ago. Now I upset people immeadiately with frankness instead of later when I am found out.

As for me dieing. The number of "Who cares?" responses will always be about 6 billion minus a few dozen. So I am happy ... I think.

Ronald Ray-gun, now he was a politician with credibility. When he said he couldn't remember (Iran-Contra) you knew he was telling the truth.

And to think that I read it here first.

When he quit to fight lung cancer a few months ago there were no suggestions at all that he had so little time to live. Only a few days ago there was an article in the paper here with him saying he appreciated all the messages of support he was getting and talking about how the state government was going to set up a website for him to post progress updates on.

He was a pretty good Premier, as Premiers go, and probably would have been there for decades but for smoking.

It is over 9 years since Jim Bacon died, I am surprised.
