I didn't think there were enough threads on poker

In my continuing quest to start a thread in which no-one responds (go on, don't post), I offer that poker is the new bingo! Prizes prizes prizes - lots of prizes. Feel the buzz, come on down! 100's people in the hall all trying their luck. Eyes down for a full house {sensational punning from the simpleton} ...

Good luck ladies! Carry on!

Gunner

If you're looking for the type of thread which attracts no response then check out some of my threads mate.

I think I had one called 'the good, the bad, and the ugly' which was reviews on chess materials which didn't attract a response. I also had a thread which postulated what intelligent spieces would do on earth if they evolved in a few tens of millions of years. Would they be able to go from Steam power to nuclear power given that we humans will have used up most of the fossil fuels.

Mate - I think it is your personality which attracts the response. You're just a legend mate. You could have a thread titled 'What I like about ABBA and Big Brother' and you would still get a response.

Cheers
George.

All I can say is that Barry must have missed it and clearly Jono was in hiatus at the time ;) You'd have no such problems now!

At least it has a greater skill element.

At least it has a greater skill element.
It does! It represents the evolution from a one cell organsim to a two cell one. Soon, there'll be cognition ;)

I think the problem is right there. You are not meant to tell people that is your intention.

Unless you are using reverse psychology and really want people to post.....

The only threads I have started which did not get any replies were ones advertising events I was running. There's an idea....

What would the point of that be?

Online this happens rather frequently. I have beaten strong players on ICC only to have them tell me they lost because they were in a big pot on Poker Stars :(
