Can anyone tell me what the world record for most consecutive matches is between 2 opponents? The closest info I could find was Vlastimil Hort playing 663 games over 33 hours in a simul involving up to 100 opponents at one time, and Eric Knoppert playing 500 games of 10-minute chess over three days. Thanks.

the author of "the mammoth book of chess", Graham Burgess, in 1994 established a new world record for marathon blitz chess and played 510 games over 3 days and nights, and more importantly won 87% of the games
