I want to try podcasting of an Aussie tournament. But I need a site to upload the file to, so you call can just download it. I was thinking maybe we could just use one of those sites where you download porn from.

Do you think podcasting is a good idea for chess? It could be supplementary to those pics.

Would that mean that we would be then downloading pawn? ;-)

Gimmiks & Gadgets tend to rely upon how successfully they are marketed.

Maybe you could do some market research, eg a questionaire thread on this site: how many chess players download podcasts? etc... although I guess that's what you are sort of doing here by asking.

Of course, responses from here may give you an inflated view of how the general population may behave (as the people on this site are both keen on chess, and are "up with" the technology to be able to access this Internet site).

Personally, I don't have a pod thingy, and I don't download podcasts. But I suspect that the future of technology will see computers getting both more powerful and much smaller.

A handheld PSP2 exists today, with wireless technology, who knows what can be cheaply mass produced in years to come?
