does any body know who were the youngest players to reach 2700,and does anybody think karjakin and magnus are better than reshevsky and capa

But are Karjaki and Magnus's games written up like those old champs. Capa games are still a magnificant experience to go through, and surely there are openings named after him, whereas no such honour for Magnus.

I think some Chinese players have the record now to reach 2700

The youngest player to break 2700 is Carlsen, closely followed by Giri. I can't remember whether Kramnik or Kasparov is the third youngest to break 2700.

Keep in mind that FIDE ratings have been slowly inflating since their inception, so achieving a rating of 2700 was much more significant in 1980 or even 2000 than it is now. In 2000 you had to be rated 2600+ to be in the top 100 in the world, and on the current rating list you need a rating of 2649+.
