Is Scillian dragon OK for black . I play the following variation
1.e4-c5 2.Nf3-d6 3.d4-cd4 4.Nd4-Nf6 5.Nc3-g6 6.Be3-Bg7 7.f3-Nc6
8.Qd2-0-0 9.Bc4-Bd7 10.0-0-0 - Rc8 11.Bb3-Nd4 12.Bd4-b5

I have played a number of games but only against weaker players n have a 100% score in this variation.
I'd like to know if this variation still survives at the top level.

I suppose it depends what you mean by "top level". Topalov employed this line twice that I know of. 2001 Moscow Champs vs Shirov (lost) and 1996 Novgorod vs Short (draw). Georgiev also employed it against Ljubojevic in 1997, Belgrade (draw). I also have one game Anand-Tiviakov, 2001 Wijk aan Zee which white won. But not a lot of "top" games and none of them very recent.

There are a lot of side variations which have been played but I think generally the whole dragon line is not currently fashionable at the very top level. However, it is still employed by many GMs the next rung down.
