Hi. I would like to play a game- I don’t mind if I’m black or white.

To borrow some sensible advice from a previous poster (thanks Careth ;)): Could you please respond with your moves at the latest 3 days after the opponent has made their move. If you cannot make this deadline, tell the opponent in those 3 days and you gain another 2 days (maximum 3 times, or the game could go forever). If you dont make the deadline, the opponent can claim a win.

Play white and I'll try to make a move every day. :D

Since you appear to be unable to make a first move on day one with white, I propose that I play 1. e4 playing as me, for me.

Yes, hard enough for the spectators ... I don't know how the coaches get through that sort of game without a heart attack. Was incredible. :)

Hi bergil. Unfortunately the king was already on f8 so can’t go there.

If you look at the PGN viewer which the chess nut’s created (thanks chess nut!), click on the button ‘load game in interactive interface’. That brings up a board and you can actually play through the game- makes it much easier- didn't know how it worked when we began. So, last move I made was 21.Qh6+

don't think so. On move 20, your king took on f8. So would have to move two squares to get to d8... :hmm:

Thanks bergil. I might look you up sometime on gameknot then. I play only rarely on gameknot though so may take a while. I was happy to find Nxg7. Not something I’d normally be able to properly calculate in a tournament game… but moving the pieces around I figured it out. Thanks for the game. :)

Berg, three questions, mate:
1) why is your bishop on a8?
2) where are your pawns?
3) do you have a deposit to make in 'Pits and Shockers'? :)
