I know Toukley is mentioned on the NSWCA web page.
If you send a soft copy of the entry form to our webmaster I'm sure he would include it for download for those interested.

I have to say, this tournament is a good tournament. I did not go last year due to monetary constraints and I think it was in march when University had started. But the year before that I did go to toukley and enjoyed the tournament immensely. I will try my best to get to this tournament.

It is about 1/2 hours drive after Gosford. It has always been one of our favourite tournaments. It is well run, the people are really friendly and Toukley is on the lakes and very pretty. There is a lovely Italian restaurant just a short walk up the main street from the club (if you are lucky the chef might even sing).

Unfortunately due to Gareth having just started year 11, we are missing it this year, but hope to get back again next year. Gareth came =1st with Kevin O'Chee last year and wanted to "defend" his win, but having been totally disorganised and anti-school for 10 years, he is having to be very motivated and catch up at the moment!

No "late" entry, but there is a discount for early entry? :hmm:

To quote TISM:

The rich kid becomes a junkie,
The poor kid an advertiser.
What a terrible waste of potential!
Being a junkie is not so good, either.

Jason overpowered Junta on the queenside eventually winning a queen in the time scramble. It was quite a high quality game.

Time is a constant problem with Junta . Doesn't matter how much you give him he soaks it up. Given that he only turned 12 in December, it is a really good result for him.

This is a bit late. Congrats to Jason. But just now I have also got hold of the Sydney Uni CC newsletter. It is truly a job well done by the club prez Jason Chan. Other than this excellent newsletter JC also gives lessons. Onya mate! Good luck on the PhD.
