They were 1. e4 c5 then as transmitted 2.d4 cd etc

Apparently Rogers and Johansen ended up being very short of time and it looks like Johansen lost on time.

White's final position appears winning anyway. An epic game.
And I see from the live games that Lane won too (though Canfell is incorrectly given as winner on the Champs BB) - and now it's Tan-Lane and Smerdon-Rogers for the last round, with Lane half a point ahead and the easier opponent. Solo and Chapman are more or less out of it - they need to win, have Lane lose and have Rogers not win to make a playoff.
