hello,

i am an artist and have been working for some years on a new type of chess game
(in colour)
the game is based on chess with the exception that the game i'm proposing in
colour has a totaly different approach (instead of players attacking each other
they need to co-operate to finish a game as quickly as possible)
the game can also be played on different levels and setups

i managed of get a general idea on my website
http://www.theapplegallery.com/cchess/drag.html

i am in the process of programming this game ( best score, move count,
timer,etc..) and hope to have that ready in a few weeks time

i am hoping of playing those games in some form of tournament in the near future

feedback appreciated

Sorry mate but to me this game appears to have very little resemblance to chess.

You have created a new and interesting game, it is colourful, has a message, etc but it appears as if you are trying to cash in on the popularity of chess to get publicity. Why not promote the game on its own merits and make up a new name rather than make comparisons?

Also, I don't like your negative implications about chess being a battle between BLACK and WHITE, with the object being to DESTROY the enemy.
Chess in more or less its current form has managed to survive for over 4,000 years and personally I enjoy playing it the way it is.

Don't expect a response; these types almost never come back to check on their postings. Probably he/she has posted the same message to 50 different chess forums.

I'm just saying that is is a new way how chess could be played.

i'm not slagging chess in black & white in any way

Should have some games up in a few weeks time (programmed) that might explain everything a bit better

I agree with this comment, it looks nice & some might find it a nice game, but it's a game of matching pretty coloured circles, not chess.
