Ok, here goes my maiden match here on CC.

Antichrist tells me I won the toss (though personally I like his idea of using the number of death notices in the SMH), so here goes..

Why the "?"?

Because already the bishop was on a useful diagonal double attacking pawn e2 with queen skewed. But if I don't get it out now you can give me bad pawns on exchanging it. So in a way a wasted move compensating for another prior move.

I predicted that ages ago but can't find an answer yet so must stick by move I think. If there is an alternative I would be interetsed.

It could be close to resign time but another few moves. No one ever improved their position...

If only they were beautiful girls.

5 years ago I would have seen all this ahead and maybe avoided. I have wrecked my game due to gambling on short games. Which is why playing slower games again -- until my gambling mate comes back to town!!

Sorry if I am not giving credit to your well thought out game.

Touche AC - your R is already on f8!

I was confused about that and their was supposed to be a reason for it. How about Rook on e6 to f6.

What exactly does touche mean, not touch move I hope. Does touch-move come into effect when the moved is typed in, I was wondering about that . You are not running out of time so don't know why I am perserving but...

That's better.

Don't worry, no touch move here. Even if it was, you touched a rook right? I meant touche (with an accent on) as in swordfights. I just said it cos you made a typo right after mine!

Anyways :

I don't think so. Just a slow grind, I fear.

I will resign. Sorry I did not give you a harder game. But I have learnt a few things about CC games to build on.

I do not know if your pawn f4 move was necessary.

Thanks for the game ac. I think f4 was useful to prevent you from pushing your pawn to f4 and mangling my pawn structure.
