Anybody want to play a correspondence match with me? I'm only a so-so player but still, would like to play a Correspondence game, preferably if you have time to make at least one move a day. I'll get the ball rolling with me as white( :P ) for the first game. First in best dressed gets to play me.

 ut-oh chessnut.... you mis-read what move Megaman made. The Png view shows it as blue. His number 5 move was "24-02-2005 09:11 PM Megaman 5.e5" ... not '5.d5'. :buttkick: ...in the Png they show as 'blue' in the side bit. Your lucky the Nd7 is in blue too :cheeky:

Ooooh.

5. e5
.... Nd7?

I think the rule is, if you make a mistake you have to play the move as you entered it.. it happened to me in my game. Fortunately for me it did not lose a piece...

Edit: Actually TCN is fortunate... 'Nd7' is an ambiguous move. It could be 'Nbd7' or 'Nfd7'.

the move order is 5. e5 then I think black is playing Nfd7, just hasnt been clear about which knight is going to d7. Can the person who is doing the viewer correct the record:)

The Chess Nut, I didn't think you were so bad a player as to blunder a piece away with Nbd7 anyway! :P I figured you meant NFd7... cleared up now. So back to the game!

Hehe thx TCN, I love the when people accept the gambit pawn in the alekhine chatard attack french:P Think you made too me many knight moves instead of getting on in development in the last game. Not to be rude, just what I thought, but then again I'm a patzer. Better luck this game!

Never heard about the Alekhine chatard attack before.... I'll have to remember in future not to take the pawn. :D

Megaman

Yeah ...a6 to prevent knight intrusion is better then taking the gambit pawn with the queen in the alekhine chatard IMO.

Back to the new game. 2...d5

Megaman hasn't been on since 06-05.

That explains why he hasn't been making moves for his games.
