Every year, employees of corporations in NSW compete against one another in a variety of sports. To see the complete programme for 2005 see the Corporate Games site (http://www.corporate-games.com/newweb/eng_pages/gamesinformation.asp?GAMESID=88&LANGUAGEID=1).

A coupla years ago, I rang this mob and asked about chess. Their reply was something like, well there's no interest in it. What does anyone else think? You reckon it's a good idea to have chess in this sort of event? Apparently all we need to do is fire off an email to the Director and make a proposal. This year for example, lawn bowls is a newly added event and in Nov last year AFL was added in the Mexican edition.

I personally think this is interesting to have chess in Corporate Games. In my beloved Philippines there is an active chess comp for Corporates.
