Ok. After much thought, my girlfriend has managed to work this one out. Do you guys want the answer or more time to think?

Speaking of puzzles, has anyone checked out Shaun's Christmas Quiz in the latest Australian Chess Magazine? That is one tough Quiz! I mean, I've played a bit of chess in my day and usually manage to work out most chess problems without too much trouble. But some of these are impossible! I worked out the first one in 20 minutes but that is as far as I got.

Thanks, Shaun, for giving me something to do on New Years Day...grrrr.

Ok, I know you are all on the edge of your seat, waiting for the answer.

If the grandfather died then how would we know what he was dreaming about?
