To start with, you 've forgotten to close the parenthesis. ( blah blah ...) As it is your statement makes no sense! :owned: :P

On a serious note, we can start as soon as I come back from North Queensland.

A series of fast online games (like five blitz games in one go) on one of those chess servers would be preferable for me since due to my overseas and interstate travelling it's a tad hard to play long corr games.

I am not really interested in continuing this match at the present temporal rate!

Since I understand that James might have been held up by his school or other commitments, I do not claim a forfeit win.

However, and since I find all these delays in responding to my moves very annoying, I would like to ask the Corr Games DOP to declare this match as null, or a draw or whatever the rules provide.

Thanks in advance!

It's just a casual game so there is no DOP as such and there are really no rules. If players want to play at a certain rate they should agree it at the start. Apart from that I wouldn't get involved in declaring a game forfeit, abandoned or whatever until there was a longer period without a move from the player whose turn it is to move. Say a month.

Mr Peirce, In this position and taking into consideration my preparations for flying to Sydney for two or three consecutive weekends and other commiments including my trip to Tasmania, I propose a draw!
If you want to continue playing I have to warn you that it might take me a long time to reply, maybe even longer than what you took while on holidays!
Cheers and good luck!

That was the right decision on your part. JaK was being very generous. Normally I would back him to beat Carlsen or Anand from the final position.

Agreed, very generous of jaK. I must remember to challenge him next time I know he's about to go on holidays.
