Dear Chess Friends,

in the last weeks I invested some time and set up a page about the history of electronic chess computer. It includes information about the minor chess computer manufaturers like Mephisto, Novag, Saitek, Scisys and others. There is a history section which will grow in the next weeks. You can play online chess in your browser, read the news including the most interesting eBay finds of the week or use the link section to find other nice chess places.

I am born in Bremen, Germany and live in Berlin now. Please excuse my english - I am not a native speaker. It would be great if you correct the content if there is something wrong. You can mail me or send me a private message here at the Forum.

I hope you like the page, please visit http://chesscomputer.org

Nice website. It's amazing to think that almost 100 years ago there was a machine that could play a K+R v K ending unassisted.

Thank you for the note. Yes the Ajedrecista Machine is a great invention.
Here is a photo of the mechanic that does the trick:

It's back on line but off line. The home page says the site is being revised because of copyright issues.
