Hi, Guys -I guess my questions is too simple..but i am really not sure about it...

Lets say I play in a Fide-rated swiss (such as Noble Park championship or Anzac day weekender) I get to play against a player who does not have a fide rating but is going to get one as a result of playing in this event. Will the game be fide-rated for me?

The answer depends on whether the tournament is run as a swiss or as a round-robin. If it is a swiss then the answer is "NO". If it is a round-robin with at least 10 players then the answer is "YES".
