As Watto commented in the shoutbox, WIM Arianne Caoili has won the London Women's Invitational event,( http://www.londonchessclassic.com/festival_events/womens_invitational.htm ) which was being held at the same time as the London Chess Classic, which was won by Magnus Carlsen.

Well done Arianne, but only one IM in the event (Susan Lalic) so no IM norm I don't think

1.45d For a WGM norm,at least 1/3 with a minimum 3 of the opponents (MO) must be WGMs (GM=1.5WGM, IM=1WGM, FM=1WGM). So. No. Looking at the field, it appears that Arianne is one of the players invited to see if other players can get norms or titles.
