It's not a discussion site, purely data, that's why I'd like to verify the accuracy.

MODS: why did you move it from science subforum (without explanation or notification)?

MODS: The silence is deafening.

All the other global warming threads are in politics aren't they?

It's not about global warming, it's about site that publishes raw data.
And now about mods that move threads without explanation, announcement and don't even own up!

However having said that I can find no evidence it was moved.

It wasn't you, it wasn't Rincewind.
It leaves 3 possibility:
1. It was Kevin (not Rudd!)
2. There are more then 3 moderators
3. I accidently started it in politics despite intending it to be in Science.

In case of (3) could you please move it to Science with first two posts only.

I suspect that it was (3) and therefore assume Kevin has no problems with it in Religion and Science.

In any case it is now moved. I'll remove the meta-posts in a day or so.

I didn't move anything either.

As a general rule I think politicised debate threads concerning climate change and policy responses should go in Politics. I am OK with scientific threads about climate issues being in Religion and Science but once such threads become strongly politicised I reserve the right to move them.

Possibly a mention of Al Gore by any poster could be considered as a sign that it is time to move the thread.

This entire thread reminds me of the "it wasn't me" song by Shaggy...

I think this thread can be safely closed and/or removed.

It's an issue likely to come up again as the placement of threads related to climate issues is ambiguous. I'll close it for now but I may move similar posts here and reopen in the future.
