View Full Version : The counting game!

Ok. Here is how it works: we start at the number 1 and count upwards as a team after a certain period of allocated time the game ends and the player who posted the most numbers wins.

Rules:

1. If the same number gets posted first then the person who posted it latest gets eliminated. No second chances there is always next game!

2. You can't post consecutive numbers. You have to wait atleast one number before you post again.

3.Entering a move out of order gets you eliminated. However there is a "play-on" factor! If it goes unnoticed then the game continues and shall be continued from the illegal number. Example: Player #1: 20
Player #2: 22
Player #3: (Doesn't notice) 23 (this is the correct move.) if Player #3 says 22 or 21 then s/he is out. That is a really important rule.

4. Confusion is part of the game! Stating numbers in different/mixed languages, numeral, roman numeral etc are all permitted. Although seeing as we have some pretty hardcore mathematicians I beg you to keep it semi-simple for us simpletons :P !

5.No post editing!

So the more people that get involved the harder and more fun it is! And I made this in the corro thread so post counts aren't effected. Good fighting!

Second part of rule 2. "You have to wait at least one number before you post again." But I had not posted previously, so no wait! (OK, admit first part of rule 2 is pretty clear. Missed that. Too many rules!)

So I guess I am out. (Rule 3.)

You all got tromped!

I think seeing as we all only got really one number in each (failure :( ) everybody kind of wins. Well done.

I think this is way too complicated for us chess players. It's amazing we know how the horsey moves, really.
