    My intent with 9.h3 was for a later quick f4, but I never got the chance to castle.

    I agree. 11... Qa5+ also looks good, e.g. 12. Qd2 Qxd2+ 13. Kxd2 Rd8 with stronger pressure on the central Ps than in most Grünfelds with the Q-exchange, because of that tempo loss.

    Yes, White lost a P by force with a lousy position as compensation. Nice finish.

    Don't be so eager to surrender the B-pair. Yes, the centre would be more stable, but what White needs to compensate for Black's Q-side majority is a mobile centre which can also support a K-side attack.
