    Thanks George. With the a-pawn so far back I suspect it is drawn, perhaps someone with a tablebase could check? As you say with the standings a draw is as good as a win anyway.

    A couple of times during the middlegame I thought I had been too clever by half and thought I was losing, but there seemed to be just enough tactical resources for me to keep going. About move 35 I thought I was winning with the passed pawns, until I threw them away with a careless 38.b7. After that I thought it was you with the winning chances, and I was very surprised that you offered me the bishop exchange.

    It's a tablebase draw according to http://www.shredderchess.com/online-...-database.html but only if Black plays 58...Kf7. Everything else loses!

    Very nice game to watch and play through. Haven't made any attempt to analyse it though!
