So you think you can dance?

What would you play as white (to move)?
    Why?
    Answers in white please?

I would play Nd5! It wins the exhange for a Pawn. If Black plays ... e3 ch, 2. Ke2 blocking the Pawn and continuing the attack!

1.Nd5 wins the exchange. It might even be the strongest move from computer point of view. But I wouldn't play it. After 1.Nd5 Rxd5 2.cd5 Rd8 black has an excellent chance to hold the position.
My preference is 1.c5 followed by d5-d6

Computer tells you what to play. Good coach explains why.

b4-c5-d5-d6-b3 run the knight over to the hole in b6 (probably a light square would be better) and keep rolling the d pawn the game essentially wins itself. P.s. I would also play h4 at some point to hold down any kingside conterplay.
And still, no one has satisfactorily proven, that it isn't opposite day.

    1. Nd5 does indeed win the exchange. The silicon beast gives the resultant position approx +.3 for white. As has been pointed out, white's pawns become 'orrible and black's bishop will enjoy space.

    1. c5 (was played) is rated approx +.8 by the same beast. As also pointed out, the pawn roller plays itself.
