Barely the omissions made in the movie were terrible if they wanted to make films that almost compared with the books they should have made three films for each book.

I agree but some of my favourites are:

    Jean de Florette
    Manon des Sources
    La fille sur le pont
Les amants du Pont-Neuf (not a sequel )

    Even Amelie was entertaining.

I enjoyed that film too, there was some surreal cinematography.

I like the some Wim Wenders films particularly Wings of Desire, Faraway So Close and Paris Texas. And Tom Tykwer is good too especially Winterschlafer.

I don't know that director. What are the names of some films? I've liked every film by Kieslowski that I've seen.

Ok without assuming I have any prior knowledge except for watching the movie explain to me the joker's insanity?

Donnie Darko is where it's at. all the different concepts brought together created an epic film. And not that I enjoyed it all that much but total recall had some thought provoking moments.

    Just watched a good movie

The Bone Collector with Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. The movie is almost as good as the Jeffery Deaver book. Recommended if you like forensics stuff.

    1. Lawrence of Arabia
    2. Godfather
    3. Seven Days in May
    4. The Lion in Winter
    5. Zulu & Magnificent seven - just couldn't spilt them
No this is silly, the whole premise is silly and very badly written. I'm the senior officer here and I've not had a funny line yet so I'm stopping it.

Wish they did. Then there would be more to watch! =]
But still - the movie was just amazing!! What omissions did they make? I can barely remember, I read/watched the movie/book like 3 yrs ago!
