Not sure if I have a right to give birth (sad if I do not)..but as far as rights at large are concerned - I think I certainly do! I also think I have responsibilities and the 2 should be balanced.
Every person has some rights obviously that are guaranteed via various legal systems across the globe.

There were no female members of the U.S. Supreme Court in 1973. Roe v. Wade was a decision by 7 men, with 2 men dissenting. If the U.S. Supreme Court decides that the 1973 decision was wrong in law, the immediate effect (sans further legislative intervention) will be to return the decision to electors. Roe v. Wade was a decision by unelected, activist, male judges. If it's overturned, abortion law will more closely reflect the will of the electors in individual States.
Ironically, despite claims that Roe v. Wade is 'controversial', the decision is far more popular than the Supreme Court which is likely to overturn it. Polls consistently show that the decision has 50% - 60% support, with the Court's approval now down to 40%.
As the article points out, a widespread perception that the Court is a political body (a view not helped by the leak of the draft decision) is a serious problem for a body which needs to be perceived as above politics.

US ex-cop who killed Damond to be freed
AAP JUN 24, 2022
A former Minneapolis police officer who fatally shot US-Australian dual citizen Justine Ruszczyk Damond is scheduled to be released from prison next week. ...
He was re-sentenced to four years and nine months on the manslaughter charge.
In Minnesota, it is presumed that a defendant with good behaviour will serve two-thirds of a sentence in prison and the rest on supervised release, commonly known as parole.
The DOC’s website says Noor will be on supervised release until January 24, 2024.
Damond’s father, John Ruszczyk, said on Friday that the family was disappointed that Noor’s third-degree murder conviction was overturned.
“His release after a trivial sentence shows great disrespect to the wishes of the jury who represented the communities of Minneapolis and their wish to make a statement about the communities’ expectations of police behaviour and actions,” Ruszczyk wrote in response to emailed questions from the Associated Press. ...
So what's your excuse? For running like the devil's chasing you?
See you in another life, brotha.
Having a president that needs to have notes provided how long to speak for and where and when to sit down....surely a great nation like US can do better than that...
