Thanks for helping solve my connect problems via Windows95. (Yes, there some us back in the ark).

A new difficulty has presented itself. Cannot connect via my user id. from the VIC OPEN IT set-up at the Box Hill premises. Actually, I can connect and see threads, but when we attempt to post I get a Cannot connect to ... full screen.

No, it wouldn't be because of that.

There are a few possibilities. It probably has something to do with cookies. Try clearing all the cookies then logging in. Make sure cookies are enabled on the browser in the first place.

Can you try to log in via another username on chesschat.org?

Also, try registering / logging in into other forums. By doing this we can determine if the problem is with the client or server.

By connect, do you mean you can login or do you mean you can read the threads as guest?

A very odd thing has happened to my FORUM screen. A radio button has appeared and while it is very faint and indistinct I can just make out something like the word Donation.

Any ideas about what is its intent?
