These were all wednesdays btw.
Activity seems to have dropped this week.
Maybe those with WINDOWS95 desktops are more affected than you thought? Or rather, there may be more of us than you thought.

I think it's now exam period for many people.
Plus a few normally noisy posters have been very quiet in recent weeks/months.

The new domain has been quite erratic. I have changed some settings and hopefully the domain will be more reliable now. The settings will take effect within 24 hours.

Thanks for helping solve my connect problems via Windows95. (Yes, there some us back in the ark).
A new difficulty has presented itself. Cannot connect via my user id. from the VIC OPEN IT set-up at the Box Hill premises. Actually, I can connect and see threads, but when we attempt to post I get a Cannot connect to ... full screen.
Used http://www.chesschat.org/
btw.
When I am next there I will try ckserver.com
And could it be a consequence of my non-logout from the home PC?

No, it wouldn't be because of that.Originally Posted by starter

Can you try to log in via another username on chesschat.org?
Also, try registering / logging in into other forums. By doing this we can determine if the problem is with the client or server.
By connect, do you mean you can login or do you mean you can read the threads as guest?Originally Posted by starter

A very odd thing has happened to my FORUM screen. A radio button has appeared and while it is very faint and indistinct I can just make out something like the word Donation.
Any ideas about what is its intent?

Can you post a screenshot please.
I will post a screenshot of how it is supposed to look.
I tried pressing on the button in the above post, but it doesn't do anything!Originally Posted by Jeo
