The "yellowness" of the thread icon thingy is not working now always white ( for me anyway). Therefore, there is no way quick way to see that there is a new post on the thread other than reading the time/date of last post.

Yellow for me, orange for you. sounds like you need a new monitor or you have senile-nuclear cataracts.
Anyway, the yellow colour change is nolonger happening for me as it was yesterday.
I will log out quit log in etcetera and let you know later, if it is behaving correctly again.
I just compared it to the yellow part of the zone alarm icon... its orange here o_O
No cigar. It is as if my computer is telling the server that I have read all posts in all threads and forums or for some other reason, the server thinks I have.
Everything else is running A-OK.

I also have work experience in the IT industry and have worked in other industries. It doesn't matter what industry or what your job is, if you cant communicate well, then you're going to have trouble with your job.
Under the old ACF BB the opening page had a facility for seeing the last twn posts. This was very handy, one could quickly check the latest.
You can do it on this board aswell.
That's right. In fact I find the search facility of the new board much more powerful.Originally Posted by Jeo

Check out the Search button (third from left at the top of frame).
The easiest way to go is to put an asterisk in the author prompt and sort on descending posting date.
Much around with the other options until it behaves the way you like it.
