If he can work out how. This could be quite a challenging one to find a way to get a handle on.

I've been missing for so long there have obviously been some new contenders for the title, but how come four four two isn't on the list?

I voted for Gunner but if fourfy had been there I'd have put him in first.

Bill has advised me of a way to do it; it's not that hard and I will post the answer after Easter.

Note that the answer will be in the form of the fastest poster to go from 1 post to the current CC GM requirement. The requirement was changed a number of times through the forum's history.

I obviously have not read enough of the board as I can't recall ever seeing a post by him. Must spend too much time in Non-Chess...

BTW Kevin don't spend too much time on working it out - if it can't be done, it can't be done. If there is a way, you need only look at anyone who has done it in less than 3 months. From memory mine was late Nov - early Feb.

It's pretty trivial and just involves entering a list of candidates one-by-one into a predetermined search.

If I really have time on my hands I might even post the fastest ten!

Is the search function totally reliable? For some reason I always thought it was liable to miss posts.

Also, when I was doing the hinted at technique, I found this early post of mine http://chesschat.org/showpost.php?p=142332&postcount=44 which was intended as sarcasm, but I expect now was taken as stating an obvious truth.

I like the change of "Other" to "AN Other".

You have to configure it correctly given that it retrieves a maximum of 500 posts per search. Another trap is that there are posts that contribute towards a user's postcount, but that only a mod can see, because they have been moved offline into the deleted threads area. Also there are some other subforums that are not on public view, such as the mods subforum. However these will not have much impact on this issue.

    Hold Da Phone here,

It would seem to sprouty here that There are a few names missing from this poll.

Lets just explore the possiblities that Sprouty and HeaviestKnight Have moved up very fast.(Especially in the shoutbox)

It would be a great injustice not to include them in the poll here

Let it be Known that the sprout conceeds that Heaviestknight has beatin the sprout moving up both from rookie-gm & also top ten shouters. But this is very close for any novice here to see.

Only reason that sprout knows about how fast Heavys has moved- is that Sprouty & Heavys both joined almost the same day here at chesschats.:S

Totally looking forward to the answer to this poll & also the Real Answer to" Who Really Is The Fastest Mover" at ChessChats.(sprout trys to find owl for answer)

There isn't anything to tell us who's moved up fastest in the shoutbox. No CC Shoutmaster title (but perhaps someone might want to use it as custom!)

Poll will be open for a few more days. I'll probably post the answers Thursday night.

Sprouty and Justaknight added to poll options.

Just a quick note to let folks know that Kevin has added 2 more options to the available choices on this poll.

    Ahhh, This is better. :o)

Doh, But the Sprout already voted for (other)

If any mods are looking at this poll- erase sproutys previous vote PLZ.

This would help sprouty cast his vote properly for his Hero (Justaknight)

Wow - Now that was some amazing speed from KB's.

Thanks KB's for that quick response here in this thread. Meh didnt even have to chat it up in the shoutbox for that help. Its incredible how KB's is on the same page as sprouty. Thanks again KB's for the assistance here.
