Good game Daniel. Good luck in your other games and hope you enjoy them!
I didn't see the mate in 1 cos I didn't specify which knight to put to e2!
I guess it's my error

I dunno. Looks like a computer error. It should have asked "Which N"? And if I didn't know better I would assume it was the N that developed another piece, as you intended.Originally Posted by DanielBell

I already posted "Daniel Bell vs Zwischenzug 0-1" in the "Cross Table" Thread. If you want to undo this and make it Nge2 instead, I'm fine with it. You would have to talk to ggraygray about it though.
it seemed your opponent guessed right though !Originally Posted by DanielBell

Very interesting situation and I had not realised all this occurred when posting the cross table.
I find it strange that the pgn can still be created even though incomplete notation has been used. I would have thought that Ne2 would come up as an incomplete notation and so the pgn would not be able to be played through.
As for what to do, I am happy with the game continuing from here: 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 Bb4 4.exd5 Qxd5 5.Qf3 Qxd4 6.Bd2 e5 7.Nge2
I will amend the cross table.
Daniel, please make sure that correct and full notation is used from now on to remove any doubt over your intended choice of move.
Continuing from where we were:

Daniel Bell has over-stepped the time limit and therefore has lost.
