I think you need to actually read the article closely before commenting. Zverev and his doubles partner had just lost the doubles match when he attacked the umpires chair.
So he was not booted from the tournament. He was already eliminated and then attacked the umpires chair. A very important difference. Therefore, the umpire did not take any action against ie booted him from the tournament.
Whilst there are calls to 'take action against him' in the last ten years or so, at least, tennis has been going down the path of either ignoring bad behaviour, or rewarding it. See the love affair Tennis Australia is having now with the Special K's behaviour at the Australian Open now that they can see cash coming in from a tv deal.
It is highly doubtful that the tennis associations will do anything meaningful about this.
Jiri Vesely beats Djokovic in Dubai, and the latter also loses his world #1 spot.
So what's your excuse? For running like the devil's chasing you?
See you in another life, brotha.
Medvedev is #1 now. Who will be his greatest challenger this year? Rafa? or will Novak rebounce...by vaccinating to start with?
