    Election Day Media

I'm interested to hear people's opinions on what is the preferred TV channel, Internet sites etc for the election day coverage.
So what's your excuse? To run like the devil's chasing you.

    Smile The Chaser on ABC!

I'll be listening to the Triple J "indecision" (with the sporting HG & Roy), whilst watching the normally staid ABC TV coverage (to see how many of The Chaser blokes get chased off the sets!)

I'll be watching a movie, episodes of the Simpsons or GITS Stand-Alone Complex or playing Mario Golf on the Nintendo 64!!!

Anything but sit through an election coverage.

^^^ Cool! I've always wanted an N64 (but have declined thus far from buying one as I found my retro collection of C64, PS1, Megadrive, Master System, Amiga 500, Amiga 600, Amiga 1200, Amiga CD32, Megadrive CDX, etc... very playable! [do you think I have enough? ])

Certainly, one of my favourite ways to relax is by playing computer games.

I currently have Rome Total War installed on my PC (which eats up a lot of leasure time!)... I had to uninstall it earlier on this year when I found myself spending more time playing it than spending on my Summer online University unit!

Hopefully I can be a little more self disciplined this year!

I think you should get a NES before you go for the N64.

I'll be on Sky. Both ABC and Nine are very good.

I don't know who has got Hawke and Keating commentating. Both are better than the average fare available from any side of politics. The two clowns on Sky this very moment - one from either side - are absolutely hopeless, both pushing their respective party's barrows. They need a slap.

Oddly, I find Hawke a very good commentator. My views on his ability as PM are well-known.

Yes, it's hard to know who they convince when they act like that... pathetic.

I like the straight talkers with a good turn of phrase. We won't have much control over the coverage as we're going to a friend's house. Hopefully a mix of ABC and 9. I love election night although the last few have been a bit deflating I must confess. We were on a plane for the last one.
