So what's your excuse? For running like the devil's chasing you?
See you in another life, brotha.
KB,
When will you start changing your sleeping times so you can watch this tournament live?
Actually a combination of rostered days off and leave (though not for chess-watching reasons!) means I shouldn't have that much interference from work in watching this.Originally Posted by ggrayggray
But as far as I can tell games start at 2 pm Mexico time, and Mexico is fifteen hours behind us, which means they start at 5 am here. And as far as I'm concerned, that's about as ugly as it gets.
Games will be 14-17 Sep, 19-22 Sep, 24-26 Sep and 28-30 Sep our time AFAICT.

No worries mate, we Mexicans here are used to the peculiarities of our hermanos overseas!

has the bulgarian chess federation lodged a protest demanding that the authorities replace escribano with topalov?

.
Where and how can you watch these games 'live'?
I admit I'm always fascinated with watching good players play!
Did you know that the literal translation for Silver is actually Money in 14 different languages, across 51 different countries?
Who is John Galt?
Official site is at www.chessmexico.com and doubtless a live link will appear there sometime once the games get underway, but there will probably be a better one somewhere else (often is!) Keep an eye on this thread, and the shoutbox at times when games are going.Originally Posted by DMarinas

I would have agreed with you until I saw that Paulb is putting some training time on the Dosza thread (post #40)Originally Posted by ggrayggray

Betsson had this a few weeks ago:
Anand 3
Kramnik 3.9
Aronian 5.6
Leko 10
Morozevich 15
Svidler 17.5
Grischuk 27
Gelfand 48
Pinnaclesports have this:
Viswanathan Anand (IND) +188
Vladimir Kramnik (RUS) +254
Levon Aronian (ARM) +425
Peter Leko (HUN) +859
Alexander Morozevich (RUS) +1200
Peter Svidler (RUS) +1691
Alexander Grischuk (RUS) +2305
Boris Gelfand (ISR) +4514
(I assume these are what you get back plus your stake for an investment of 100.)
I've seen a few others around - lots of variation re the longer odds but everyone has Anand slight favourite over Kramnik. Interesting how this forum is so strongly backing Kramnik to win (as I am) - Anand has had the wood on Kramnik recently.
