Canterbury Junior Chess is presenting the 2007 Victorian Junior Chess Championships

Venue - 3 Rochester Road, Canterbury

There are two championships - Tournament 2 - is on this thread.

Under 12,10,8 Boys and Girls which will be 7 rounds

Playing schedule

Saturday 30 June

Round one 10.00
Round two 12.15
Round three 14.30

Sunday 1 July

Round 4 10.00
Round 5 12.15
Round 6 14.30
Round 7 16.45

Rate of play 40 mins plus 30 seconds from move 1

Entry fee $40.00 (less $10.00 if paid by Friday June 16)

Payments can be made by cheque or cash at the Box Hill Chess Club on Tuesday or Friday nights at the venue.

It should be noted that if an entrant enters in tournament 1 and tournament 2 - they are entitled to win one title in each tourament. Where more than one title is determined in a tournament, the highest scoring eligible player in that tournament shall be awarded the title within the highest age group within the tournament concerned. A female player is eligible to hold one Girls' title and one open title in the same or in different age groups.
