    Ok, as I said I would think about this some more.

    I view it as each move is separate to the others, so in this situation it goes something like this-

    If you play Bf5 I will reply with Qxf8, then if you reply to Qxf8 with Kxf8 I will reply Rd2. Had you replied with any other moves, I would then be free to choose any other legal move.

    As for the time controls, you would have to tender your first move in the conditional variation within the seven days, then you have another seven days to make your next move.
