    surely the wrong game???

    Hi everyone,

This game is purportedly the game from Round 8 of the Sydney International Open between Igor Bjelobrk and Dejan Antic. Given that Dejan won, I can only guess that this is not the whole game, or Igor lost on time, or some other reason, as the end position is thumping for white; consider below...

    [Event "?"]
    [Site "?"]
    [Date "????.??.??"]
    [Round "?"]
    [White "Bjelobrk"]
    [Black "Antic"]
    [Result "0-1"]
    [PlyCount "77"]

What does everyone think? couldn't be possible. I guess the bulk amount of great work done by Brian, Vasil and their team can lead to minor slip ups like this

Take care and God Bless, Macavity

Clearly there is something wrong because when you click to get the game the result is shown as 1 - 0 when the correct result is 0 - 1 for the Bjelobrk - Antic game.

For SIO we tested out the Paxman software sp2html.

The program has some benefits eg multi-user and live to the web.

But there are some bugs. In particular, the program is unreliable when the player "Chandler" is in the file. Maybe this is a throw back to Brisbane or Queenstown?

Anyway the Bjelobrk-Antic game is now fixed up.

    Curious.

Anyway, I hope pax fixes it up, because it is a great idea.
So what's your excuse? To run like the devil's chasing you.

See you in another life, brotha.

Yes, there are a few games which are misplaced. When I was preparing for one of the last rounds I decided to check what my opponents would find (which openings they would be preparing for). In one of the earlier games I apparently played the Sicilian.
