I can empathise with the scores being hard for a score transcriber to fathom, especially as the Chesschat score transcriber in this instance beat the aforementioned Kevin patz in the State Championships a few years ago. However, the score transcriber was at the Chest Centre at the time of the game and made sure the correct result was filled in on the results sheet so deep down in his heart, he secretly knew the truth. All good now as he seems to have fully accepted the unlikely state of affairs now. Thanks.

Yikes! That's a massive lead. Kevin would have to slip on a banana skin to lose from here!

Never underestimate a patzer! I think it is possible to miss out on first, second or third from here but main thing is to try at least by turning up for every game, which isn't as easy to do as it sounds

“A wise prince will seek means by which his subjects will always and in every possible condition of things have need of his government, and then they will always be faithful to him.” — Niccolo Machiavelli (1469–1527), Il Principe (The Prince)

A wise prince will also realise that this can be achieved more successfully by means other than rape, pillage, greed, lies, deceit or misinformation.
