    2007 Morelia-Linares with Ivanchuk added

As listed on the other thread: http://www.chesschat.org/showthread.php?t=5889
Radjabov has withdrawn and been replaced by Ivanchuk.

So even though there is only a short time till the tournament starts, new poll. See how we go.

I found that site to be exceedingly slow-loading (even on ADSL2+) and couldn't find a live games link there either.

The site for the Linares half of the event has a live games link.

Actually after casting my vote I remembered that last year Topalov had a shocker in the Mexico half and only got his act together in Linares. Wonder if this will be repeated.

Kevin, what are you doing with ADSL?

The site is slow because the bone-head who built it put in a squillion vignettes (the yellow gradients).

Thanks to Renée (Spanish linguist) and Anthony (waking her up) we have the live games link. Look for 'Partidas en Vivo' drop menu under 3rd blue block, and same under 4th blue block, which is live now.

There is no cure for leftism. Its infestation of the host mostly diminishes with age except in the most rabid of specimens.

Kevin, I'm sorry but what you need is a new Apple Mac and TransAct broadband, the latter available only in Canberra. With those the website loaded immediately.

Incidentally there are already partidas en vivo being transmitted but they are from the other sections in which Sergei Tiviakov,Vadim Milov and Daniel Stellwagen, among many others, are playing. They run from 15 - 18 February.

I've been getting bulletins from Morelia, apparently as unsolicited chess spam!

Haven't started following it yet. Coincides too closely with my current sleeping hours.

Well KB ,you know as well as i do, you have to switch realignment of your current regimen to harmoniously coincide with major chess events........and im sure you would have considered this necessary transition.

It coincides really well with most of them!

If I switch to day-active now I won't be able to handle Linares!
