Correction to above statement: I have now noticed that the pairings were not directly imported from Swiss Perfect, and as such had lost their original formatting. As such I copied the information into a Word processing file, and then changed the font to a unicode font, like Courier, though in this case Lucida Console is what I used, and then reposted them here. It required quite a bit of editing first but is still more readable now. You may like to do similarly if you are taking them home from Noble park on a disk before posting them, or not as you choose.

Congratulations to Domagoj and the Noble Park Chess Club Committee!

What a stunning venue for chess. For those Victorians who have not ventured out to the Noble Park Chess Club premises, there is a treat in store for you. The building is almost brand new, the furniture is almost brand new. The room is well lit with both natural light and artificial light (excellent for my tapestry work). There is plenty of parking right next to the venue. There is access for wheel chairs. The premises are less than 5 minutes walk from the Noble Park train station. The building is right in the middle of the Noble Park shopping centre.

There were a few observers on Saturday. I hope there are more observers to see the wonderful venue and the chess being played there, next Saturday.
