    Work for the dole

    Who what where when was the talk that related to "Work for the Dole" scheme where the person was doing their work at a chess club?

    That was starter talking about some bloke working for him for a coupla hours at the BH club.

    hi Matt

    All the details you seek were on the old board. It arose when PaulS was bemoaning the difficulty of getting resources. (Don't know the exact thread).

    CENTRELINK gave me forms to fill in....job role, insurance, not-for-profit, etc.

    The resource himself suggested a Chess Club as an appropriate give-back 'job'. I think he has worked off his obligation, and CENTRELINK have signed-off. But he continues as a player and a new active volunteer; so that is a goodness.

    Anything else you want to know?
