    Hi Jon. I see the cause for confusion. My "Lefty" at #46 followed directly from your #45. The two posts are unrelated.

    Yes, this thread is a musing box for possible future handles for me, or indeed for anyone, but generally, (always the case for me), the offerings as posted refer to the author.

    Have 5 HCDs for not being a Lefty.
    Have another 5 HCDs for definitely not being a Lefty.
    Have a further 5 HCDs for "whom".
    Have a final 5 HCDs for looking the other way while I persistently commence sentences with conjunctions and prepositions.

    Paying $20 HCDs right there, folks.

    I believe the correct procedure is to request the change of Barry via PM (with 20 HCDs in the envelope), or you may care to try the official form from post #19 of this thread.

    For an Arsenal supporter, Gunner, you are very generous! In addition, you generally make a good stand for the accuracy of the English language. I can excuse the odd "And " at the start of a sentence. I have even been known to do it myself...

    One of my first threads on this BB was "Best Insults On The BB". Your insult would have made it there! Alas Kevin killed it almost immediately.

    The site admin is physically able to change handles at will. However he was cautioning me against changing handles on a whim. He may be busy when the subsequent request(s) come to change back/ again.

    He may of course chose to be more or less tolerant with other posters. Or then again, not!
