I appreciate your comments. Even though they are by and large negative, it is far more than we have received elsewhere.
With regard your first point, I wholly agree that the winner of this cycle should be the next champion. The change we wish to implement will take place for the one afterwards, so I do not see our poistsions on this particular issue as necessarily contradictory. The point I am making is that we must escape this cycle, so after the next couple we must be ready to move on. It may take a further cycle to prepare: fine by me, so long as it happens eventually.
With regard your second point I specified "one option" for a reason. It is only one suggestion, and not a concrete policy. I am specific in my meanings, please do not misinterpret what I am trying to say. However, I do accept what you are trying to say,and feel that am perfect solution may not be possible...
With regard your third point, I do not mean to criticise Kasparov, it was merely a comment upon his chances of remaining at the top of the rankings. It would be nice if the worlds best played more frequently, but time is not infinite, and I accept that. And I detest the mass media for doing what they did to Fischer...
With regard your final point, I believe you are are once again misinterpreting my intended meaning, and I apologise if the cause is my unclear wording. I would indeed consult chess marketing exerts if we were to carry out such activities. In Britain, by the way, school promotion is all but non-existent. I am graded about 1200 and I run my school club. It is populated by beginner/novice 11-13 year olds with myself being almost the only exception. So please pardon my ignorance of chess marketing. In fact, the only chess club in the whole of SouthWest Scotland has 20 paying members only. If you have any further comments, please present them here.

Hence, the "after Tuesday" reply to me. Good luck with it.

BTW the "correct" answer to Amiel's question was with another question...
