Can someone let Kerry know that it has started?
So what's your excuse? To run like the devil's chasing you.

See you in another life, brotha.

Can anyone recommend some software to help manage these games ?

Just something where I can store the positions/move and see a board to plan the next move.

I don't think I am up for playing them blindfold.

I use a program called WinBoard, it's free to download off the net and is very easy to use.

You can create the pgn viewer board in your games on here by the following method-

Copy the move order, then [ pgn ], then paste in the moves from the game, then close with [ /pgn]. (there are no spaces when actually trying to create the board)

This will then show you the current board position for your game.

Thank you - this works well. Is it OK to use this every couple of moves or will that annoy some ?

For the record I have no books or computers and all my theory is about 15 years out of date ! At least now I'll have a board.

Thanks - I'll try this from home.

Thanks also to all my helpful opponents for posting the position.

When a game is completed, it would be appreciated if winner could please place a note here to inform everyone of the completed game and result.
