    Queen sac frivolity....

Another excruciating example of rampant queen sac buffoonery, inflicted on a hapless ICC opponent. Tentative title: "London (System) Has Fallen".

I believe it was Tarrasch who said: "Anyone who is afraid of isolated queen pawns in these sorts of middle-game positions should be bludgeoned by a crusty old pair of Alekhine's whiskey-stained trousers". Of course, I may be paraphrasing here.

31.Qb4 Rxf2! Because 32. Bxf2 allows ...Qh2 mate. However, White should definitely lop off one set of rooks here to avoid further embarassment.
    32.Ne6? Qh1+! Naturally...
33.Kxh1 Rf1+ and mates next move.

    Cheers,

So what's your excuse? To run like the devil's chasing you.

See you in another life, brotha.

I like a good Queen sac as much as the next guy, but can't Black just play 32... Rf1+ without the Queen sac?

Quite right. Just shows you the warped state of the Casey mind... I considered the queen sac before I even bothered to look at any normal alternatives... . That's blitz for you.
