He was not at the board for Round 1 ... I left after that so didn't see what time he actually arrived.

Actually I think the arbiters have rocks in their heads for allowing a player to rejoin the tournament after forfeiting a game and missing five rounds. It is utterly unfair to a player on 0/5 (TCN as it happens) to be playing Sarfati in round 6. Then of course in round 7 Sarfati played a player on 1/6 whose only point was due to the bye that his absence had caused!

Although a lightning tourney is just for fun, adding JONO to the field because he was late at getting to the venue is in the spirit of the event.
