    correspondence ratings

Tim Runting has sent out an Email stating among other things that:

From January 1st all completed games played on ICCF will be rated by the CCLA Rating method of +20 win, -20 loss, no change for a draw, currently this is the only method we can use to rate overseas games played by members. We recognise this is not a perfect solution but at present this is better than none.

This is going to hurt me as in almost all my International games I am paired upwards.

I think it will hurt those like us (1800-2200) the most David - the lower end of the Master section. I'd be surprised if any of the others on my board at PATTV will be in my neck of the woods ratingswise, but then there's always a chance!

Has anybody produced an Australian ICCF rating list as at October 2006 yet?
