    This year Mingara has raised the bar from 2000 to 2100.
    With a 1st Prize of $600 there should be a good turn-out!

    40 players in 2004 (won by Kerry Stead), 46 players in 2003 (won by junior Kevin O'Chee).

    I think it is shocking that the top players can't compete, for them and for the lower players also. Nothing like being done over by a top player to get rid of the cobwebs around our pet openings. We should be thankful they are around to hold the standards.

    Peter, there are plenty of tournaments for the top players to play in, many of which have more prizemoney.
    I might be there this weekend ... still not sure ...
