    Hi Vaness,

It's on June 18-19 at the Robina Town Centre, nice venue.

The Gold Coast airport is at coolangatta. So your relatives are close to the airport. But unfortunately the venue, Robina Town Centre is at the other end of the gold coast. Coolangatta airport is at the southern end of the gold coast and Robina Town Centre is at the middle northern end of the gold coast.

I have seen the flyer for the gc open, but it isnt available on www.gardinerchess.com yet.

Thanks garvin. I actually know where the airport is and i know where robina is (in behind the inlets of surfers paridise). I was asking the question about transportation, i would probably have to use public transport....

I think there is a bus that goes from near coolie airport to robina town centre. When you have more information about when you are arriving etc, i can give you more information about buses etc. One thing though, I do live in Brisbane, so my knowledge of southern gold coast pt is not great
