Well it seems you may be backpedalling now that it has been pointed out that the standard you were trying to use to keep trans women out of women's prisons only works in one direction and leads to an irrational conclusion when it is applied to trans men. There's plenty of research out there on the strength and other benefits of hormone treatment for trans men, and there is no reason for you to put it in scare quotes.

The anti-trans lobby hasn't thought this stuff through. The reason for this is simple: they are not really interested in protecting women or prisoners, they just want to use a tiny handful of cases to beat up distrust of trans people.

A person first needs to identify before they choose to have the treatment (obviously). And there may be significant delays before they receive treatment, and then the treatment itself may take months or years.

Where a prisoner is placed is not just based on how they identify - you need to read the guidelines (which I've already linked to)
    here.

Outcry over trans inmate at women’s jail
Victoria’s authorities have been asked to move the inmate, who has a ‘working’ penis, out of the female prison.

Note that it is not just me that thinks that the lady with a ''working penis'' needs to be moved. = Women's groups think likewise! So....apparently I am not the only one who thinks he/she is not quite a safe ''woman'' to be around.

So the same media and social media circles that feed you these stories in the first place are trying to tell you that Women's Forum Australia is a representative "women's group". It is not - it's a TERF and SWERF (and astroturf!) outfit that is primarily obsessed with gender issues, is anti-abortion and is approved of by the Australian Christian Lobby. You are being lied to, but you do not seem to mind.

Also you announce that it is not just you as if this is news when actually you got the story from them in the first place. Unbelievable!

I am simply reminding of the fact that women are not happy to be with someone who is ''still a man'' at least in some way.

How the hell do we know? There is a claim that women are signing a petition, but how many women, out of how many in the facility? The Herald-Sun doesn't think this information is important enough to inform us.
